Charles F. McGonagle

August 2, 1932

Trooper McGonagle became a State Trooper on February 3^rd, 1930, after graduating as a member of the 22^nd Recruit Training Troop. He was operating his motorcycle on South Main Street in the town of East Longmeadow, returning to the Monson Barracks . He lost control of his motorcycle on wet pavement and died before he could be transported to the hospital.
